OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2013. SORAINEN Estonia advised CVCI, a private equity firm focusing on developing markets, on investing in Tallink Group, a listed leading provider of high-quality mini-cruise and passenger transport services in the Baltic Sea region.

Baltic Cruises, a CVCI fund, obtained an overall 15.7 per cent stake in the Estonia-based company Tallink Group for EUR 116.6 million or EUR 1.1 a share.

In the same transaction SORAINEN also advised CVCI from the sell side on divestment of other CVCI managed funds. These constituted a 7.8% shareholding purchased while other sellers to Baltic Cruises were Infortar (approx 4.20%), Amber Trust (approx 3.58%) and Firebird Republics Fund (approx 0.15%).
