OREANDA-NEWS. The akimat of Astana city together with VINCI Construction Grands Projets company have made a memorandum on mutual understanding and cooperation in a sphere of development of car park construction (transport) branch in Kazakhstan.

The document was signed on March 3, 2013 by Kanat Sultanbekov, who is the deputy Akim of Astana, and Chevalier Francois, who is a business director of VINCI Construction Grands Projets company across Central Asia.

According to the memorandum, under the preparation to EXPO-2017, VINCI Construction Grands Projets is planning to start construction of 3 car parks this year. Implementation of these projects will be performed on the base of public-private partership. In 30 years these car parks will pass into municipal property.

The signed memorandum aims to strengthen the partnership between the akimat of Astana city and VINCI Construction Grands Projets company in order to support nationwide events for decades to come. In the course of work on the memorandum, the fact of international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 holding in Astana was specifically taken into account.
