OREANDA-NEWS. During the period of February 28-29, Concern Khlibprom redeemed, according to the offer, long-term series E bonds to the amount of UAH 33.46 mil. The Company also paid out a series E bond coupon to the amount of UAH 1.898 mil. on February 28. Payment interest constituted 17.5%.

Oleh Chernyakhovskyi, CFO of the Concern Khlibprom: ‘Financial system and equities market situation in Ukraine have complicated recently. In response, the Company increased the coupon interest for the next 4 periods from 17.5% to 19.5% p.a. Therefore, some bond holders showed an interest to retain bonds in their portfolio. All existing and potential investors may expect further establishing by our Company of constructive and mutually beneficial capital market relations’.

Series E bonds of par value equalling to UAH 1 thou. were issued in March 2011 to total amount of UAH 50 mil. The next coupon will be paid out on May 29-May 30, 2012.

Concorde Capital is a bond issue underwriter, while OTP Bank is a paying agent. The bonds are at the second listing level of the Ukrainian Stock Exchange.
