OREANDA-NEWS. PJSC "The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works "Krasny Kotelshchik" (the main manufacturing facilities of PJSC EMAlliance is a part of the power plant concern OJSC Power Machines) has shipped the first assemblies for the Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for Kazanskaya CHPP-2. The shields of gas-tight casing of the outlet gas duct with supporting steel structures are shipped to the CHPP. Total weight of the equipment is over 12,7 tons.

In August, 2011 PJSC EMAlliance and LLC Management Company IED-Holding signed a Contract for design, manufacture and supply of two new Power Units PGU-110 for Kazanskaya CHPP-2. Two Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) are the part of the Contract obligations of the power plant company. Total weight is approximately 1,8 thousand tons. The equipment has been designed and manufactured within the framework of the License Agreement between PJSC EMAlliance and the American company NOOTER/ERIKSEN, INC. The design is made by specialists of the PJSC Engineering Centre EMAlliance-BSDB BP (Barnaul). The Project equipment is manufactured at the Taganrog Boiler-Making Works "Krasny Kotelshchik". Specialists plan to complete the shipment of two HRSGs until the end of 2013.

Let us remember, that Heat Recovery Steam Generators are designed for HP and LP steam generation by the means of heat recovery of the combustion products, entering the HRSG after the exhaust from the gas-turbine plant. The new equipment will be installed within two Power Units PGU-100 of Kazanskaya CHPP-2 with the installed capacity of 110 MW each. Owing to the design concepts the Heat Recovery Steam Generators will be able to operate at high temperature of the gases entering HRSG inlet gas duct from gas-turbine plant (in normal operation mode temperature of gases is 650°С).

Besides, OJSC Kaluga Turbine Works (OJSC KTZ), which is also a part of the concern OJSС Power Machines participates in the Project of Combined-Cycle Plants (CCP) construction at Kazanskaya CHPP-2. At the moment, OJSC KTZ manufactures and supplies two steam turbines with a capacity of 36 MW each and ensures delivery of two turbines manufactured by LLC Electrotyazhmzsh-Privod (Lysva, Permsky Region). Erection supervision and commissioning are also a part of the scope of obligations of OJSC KTZ.

Combined Cycle Power Units are scheduled to be put into operation at Kazanskaya CHPP-2 in 4 quarter 2014 and 3 quarter 2015. When the Units are put into operation the CHPP capacity will increase more than two times and will be equal to 410 MW. So far, the installed capacity of the power station is 190 MW.
