OREANDA-NEWS. Azerbaijan-Greece business meeting was organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation and Greece-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 7.
40 Greek companies engaged in industry, food, tourism, health, pharmaceutical, construction and design, aviation, ICT, agriculture, transport, consulting and other participated at the event.

The head of AZPROMO Rufat Mammadov highlighted expansion of entrepreneurial activity, establishment of favorable business and investment climate in Azerbaijan, turning of Azerbaijan into the exporter of investment as a result of socio-economic reforms carried out successfully, and invited the businessmen to cooperate with Azerbaijani partners. The presentations on business and investment opportunities of Azerbaijan also presented by AZPROMO in the event.

Head of Greece-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Economy George Papadopoulos and representative of Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nicolas Sophianos informed about extension of economic relations and cooperation between two countries.
The event ended with the bilateral meetings. More than 100 Azerbaijan businessmen attended the bilateral meetings.
