OREANDA-NEWS. On 6 March 2013, the first edition of the Polish-Ukrainian Stock Exchange Forum was held in the registered office of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The forum was organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland and the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. During the inauguration meeting, the participants and the invited guests were greeted by: Mr. Jacek Piechota, Chairman of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Professor Markiyan Malskyy Ph.D., Ukrainian Ambassador in Poland and Beata Jarosz, Deputy President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

 KSG Agro was the partner of the event. Representatives of Ukrainian WSE-listed companies took part in a discussion panel entitled “Development prospects of Ukraine with particular emphasis of the agriculture and food industry”. The KSG Agro Group was represented in the debate by Mr. Sergey Mazin, CEO.

 The conference became a platform for presenting a broad range of topics related to the stock exchange and the presence of Ukrainian companies on the Warsaw stock exchange, but also a broader economic overview of the strategies, experiences and prospects for the economic cooperation between Poland and Ukraine. The speakers invited to the conference presented, among others, the macroeconomic and legal situation of the Ukrainian WSE-listed companies, analyzed the current financial policies in Ukraine, current changes in the Ukrainian regulations, specific financial reporting requirements and the potential and development of the agricultural sector.
