OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, a European mobile operator, has launched the Tele2 Praktik program, an annual internship for Russian students. It is a fourth year in a row that the company introduces a program for young professionals. Over 100 students from Russia’s most prestigious universities took the internship over the period.

This year the company will introduce Tele2 Praktik in 14 Russian regions – the program welcomes students from Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Moscow, Murmansk, Nizhniy Novgorod, Orel, Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, St Petersburg, Tambov, Tula and Chelyabinsk.

 Candidates will be shortlisted following several selection stages including an interview, a test and business game. Finalists will take a two-month internship in a major telecom company providing services in 11 countries. Tele2 interns get a salary and enjoy all social guarantees.

 From the very first day, interns join Tele2’s team and plunge into the company’s life. Students get on-the-job trainings under the guidance of experienced mentors and take part in projects of the selected department. Besides, interns undergo different trainings that allow developing their personal skills.

 After a two-month program comes to an end, mentors will make appraisal and decide on whether to extend the internship period. Most successful candidates will be able to stay in the company and work flexible hours. Thereby they will have a chance to apply skills in practice without interrupting their studies.
