OREANDA-NEWS. On March 15, 2013, Transaero Airlines launched subsidized ticket sales for the residents of Russia within the State Program of Subsidized Air Travel of 2013 to and from the country’s Far East.

In accordance with the Program, Russian citizens up to 23 years old, women over 55 years old and men over 60 years old are entitled to subsidized air travel.

The State Program of Subsidized Air Travel for the country’s residents has been carried out since 2009. It has proved to be highly efficient and has a great social impact. Transaero Airlines is an active participant of the program. The airline carried over 365,000 passengers to and from the Russia’s Far East from 2009 to 2012.

This year Transaero will offer subsidized tickets for travel from April 1 to October 31 on 12 routes including the following: between Moscow and Anadyr, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok, Magadan, Norilsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Yakutsk as well as between Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk and St Petersburg.

Subsidized tickets can be purchased at both Transaero’s sales offices and at the authorized agents’ ticket offices.
