OREANDA-NEWS. From June 2 2013 UTair Aviation will operate a new route between Rostov-on-Don to Frankfurt am Main. UTair will be the only carrier offering direct flight service between these two destinations.

Departures from Rostov-on-Don are scheduled on Sundays at 08:45, with departures from Frankfurt on Sunday at 11:40 (all times local) aboard comfortable Boeing 737-500 aircraft in Economy and Business class layouts. The estimated flight time is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

UTair Aviation operates regular and charter flights from Rostov-on-Don to Moscow, Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Khujand, Yerevan, Bangkok, Dubai and Phuket.

For more than 30 years the Rostov Region has maintained close official, trade and cultural ties with different states in Germany. The new route will provide more comfortable business and leisure access from the Southern Federal District to Germany.

UTair Aviation ranks among the top three Russian airlines. In 2011 UTair aircraft transported 6,750,425 passengers. In the period from January-November 2012 UTair Group serviced 28.2% more passengers than for the same period of 2011. In 2012 the airline expects an increased transport volume of up to 10 million passengers. The airline operates more than 200 fixed wing aircraft and performs flights to 110 destinations in Russia and aboard. The airline maintains its central hub at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, from which it performs 100 flights daily.
