OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2013. In the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Vilkul held an all-Ukrainian teleconference. Taking part in it were also Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services Hennadiy Temnyk and chiefs of central and local executive authorities.

Among the issues discussed during the meeting was realization in 2013 of The Available accommodation programs in the framework of social initiatives of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.  

The Government is realizing programs directed to providing the citizens with available housing. In particular, last year the Program of cheapening mortgage rates was introduced.

In the framework of the program citizens of Ukraine obtained opportunity to take credits for construction or purchase of accommodation under 3%. It means 13% out of 16% annual rate is compensated by the state.

Owing to this last year 1233 Ukrainian families received long-expected flats.

On February 20, 2013 the Government adopted a decision which enabled to further in 2013 realization of this program.

“On March 15 activity in concluding credit contracts commenced. For the first five days 11 contracts were concluded for purchase of available accommodation,” the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Vilkul told.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Vilkul instructed heads of central and local authorities to ensure wide informing about the possibilities of state programs.

“In 2012 owing to the state support over 4 thousand Ukrainian families obtained their own homes. First of all, these are doctors, teachers, workers of a budget sphere. This activity must be intensified this year,” Olexandr Vilkul urged.
