OREANDA-NEWS. As part of the Russian Business Week, a Strategic Cooperation agreement was signed between the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) and Moscow’s World Trade Center.

The document was signed by Alexander Shokhin, Chairman of the union, and Vladimir Salamatov, General Director of the WTC.

The grand signing ceremony took place in the Ladoga VIP hall of the WTC’s Congress Center.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Salamatov remarked that the Word Trade Center, traditionally an active promoter of economic integration of domestic business into global economy, “is a universal ground for specialized events and a constructive dialog between business and authorities. Joint efforts of the RSPP and the WTC will raise international interaction to new heights.”

According to Mr. Shokhin, “we are delighted with the fact that today two RSPP-sponsored events are taking place, which in everybody’s mind are associated with the Russian Business Week, namely the First National Oil and Gas Forum and a conference on technical regulation.” The union chairman expressed his conviction that next year most events of the Russian Business Week will take place at the World Trade Center. “It’ll be one of the outcomes of today’s agreement,” said Mr. Shokhin.
