OREANDA-NEWS. JSC “MOESK’s” branch “Southern Electric Grids” plans to double the volume of investments into the electric grid complex of the southern Moscow Area this year against 2012.

The investment program of the branch includes over 4,900 energy facilities. According to the annual plan, about 230 MVA of new facilities will be commissioned, more than 400 km of overhead lines (OL) and cable lines (CL) of different voltage levels will be built and reconstructed in the southern Moscow Area. It is the most large-scale investment program for the history of the SEG.

The amount of RUR 8.24 bn which is planned for renovation and construction of energy facilities in the responsibility area of the Southern Electric includes RUR 5.06 bn assigned at the expense of depreciation and RUR 3.18 bn assigned at the expense of grid connection.

Reconstruction of “Aparenki”, “Bronnitsy”, “Vesennyaya” 110 kV substations (S), “Lesnaya- Lebedev”, “Chagino – Bolyatino” 110 kV overhead lines will be priority projects for power engineers.

Particular attention is given to power lines of 0.4/6/10 kV. The amount of capital investments into implementation of this activity will exceed RUR 2 bn. The greatest amount of works will be implemented in the Podolsk, Chekhov, Moscow Electric Grid Districts.

Design and explorations works are stipulated at 110 kV “Kotel’niki”, “Pushchino” 110 S, “Yerino” 35 kV S, “Gulevo - Severovo 1, 2” 110 kV OL, “Oka - Serpukhov 1, 2” 110 kV OL, 110 kV CL from “Severovo” 110 kV S to “Fetischevo” 110 kV S.

In general, the investment activity of the company is focused on engineering re-equipment, modernization of equipment and construction of new energy facilities. These activities will expand the customer base by way of connecting new electricity consumers to MOESK’s grids, as well as they will provide high-quality and reliable power supply of electricity to residents of the southern Moscow Area.
