OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2013. In March 2013, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issued a supplement to Bank’s representative office licence. The licence has been renewed for a further three-year period and will be valid until 11 March 2016.

In 2004, Russia’s Central Bank licensed BIB to open its Moscow-based representative office. Over the past nine years, the office actively works towards accomplishing day-to-day tasks that come with running Bank’s business in Russia. Apart from a detailed monitoring of economic and financial developments and the overall situation in Russia’s banking sector, the representative office’s key activities include providing informational, legal and actual support for implementing BIB-initiated projects in the Russian Federation.
