OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus’ OJSC Olivaria, a brewery based in the city of Minsk, produced 1.072 million decaliters of beer in January-February 2013, a decrease of 16% on the year, a representative in Belgospischeprom concern told.

In February alone the brewery reduced output by 14.8% year on year to 438,000 dal.

Beer offering in plastic bottles decreased 8% to 887,000 decaliters, in glass bottles decreased 44.9% to 125,000 decaliters, and in kegs increased 28.6% to 45,000 decaliters. Beer offering in cans reached 15,000 decaliters (down 69.4%).

Olivaria beer sales on the domestic market increased 2% on the year in January-February 2013 to 1.069 decaliters.

The brewery exported 30,800 decaliters of beer in January-February 2013, up 34.7%.

Olivaria was founded in 1864 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1994. Olivaria became part of Carlsberg A/S in May 2008.
