OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2013. The Government is studying the EU experience in providing subsidies to agricultural enterprises. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this after his visit to one of the Hungarian farms.

"I was interested in how the system of subsidies, which operates in the European Union, could be introduced in our country. You have heard, perhaps, about the size of subsidies provided by the EU to its farmers - a lot of money. We, unfortunately, do not have such amount of money," Mykola Azarov said.

The Prime Minister recalled that the adopted by Government program for activization of economic development for 2013-2014 envisages a number of measures to support domestic agribusinesses.

Recall, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is on an official visit to Hungary.
