OREANDA-NEWS. April 03, 2013. The operation of Vuglegirska thermal power plant (TPP) of Centroenerho company in Svilodarsk of Donetsk region will be resumed with time, and the first measures will be implemented in this direction within week.

It was discussed at a sitting of the Governmental interdepartmental commission created for elucidating reasons of the accident. To participate in the activity there arrived to Svitlodarsk a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Eduard Stavytskyi, Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadiy Temnyk, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine Oleh Proskuryakov, head of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations Mykhaylo Bolotskykh, first deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Dubovyk and head of Donetsk regional state administration Andriy Shyshatskyi.

Participants of the meeting stressed that employees of Vuglegirska TPP would not stay without work and would be attracted to work in other energy objects.

Besides, it was emphasized that local consumers would be provided with heaters in the current heating season. And during 10 days there will be elaborated a project heating supply plan for the following heating season.

It should be noted that in connection with the fire that occurred on March 29, 2013 on Vuglegirska TPP, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych gave a commission to the Cabinet of Ministers to take immediate measures in order to ensure liquidation of the fire consequences and render necessary assistance to the sufferers. In the morning of March 30 the fire on Vuglegirska TPP was extinguished.
