OREANDA-NEWS. Jointly with its customer airlines, NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is presenting an updated flight schedule offering attractive destinations in the Summer, 2013.

Seasonal flights to several international resorts will be resumed: as expected, Antalya route will remain in high demand among tourists, therefore, regular and charter flights to this destination will be performed by Transaero, UTair, I Fly, Pegasus Airlines. Departing from NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport, passengers will have the opportunity to travel to Barcelona, Dubai, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Bourgas, Varna, Rimini, Simferopol on direct flights. Turkish Airlines will continue its regular flights on Novosibirsk – Stambul route. As usual, summer flight schedule includes the Russian southern resorts such as Sochi, Anapa, Krasnodar. Bangkok and Hurghada will remain within route network among available destinations. Tour operators are also considering to launch charter flights to Naple and Las Palmas.

In spring-summer period flights to such destinations as Munich, Frankfurt, Beijing, Hong Kong will continue operation. Frequency of flights to Erevan, Baku and Prague will increase while direct services to Dusseldorf, Minsk and Kiev will be resumed. Already on April 5th, a new regular flight to Shymkent, Kazakhstan, will be launched.

Number of flights on domestic routes is expected to increase including Tyumen and Salekhard. An extended route network of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport will be available for residents of the northern regions of Russia. Direct flight connections with Samara, Ufa and Gorno-Altaysk are expected to be launched.

In total, the route network of NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport in summer flight schedule 2013 estimates about 80 destinations ensuring its development as an accessible air hub. Summer flight schedule will be valid until October 26, 2013.

NOVOSIBIRSK International Airport is the largest air hub east of the Urals on major transit routes between Europe and Asia. The domestic airline capacity makes up 1,800 passengers per hour, on international flights – 750 passengers per hour. The airport has two runways. In 2013 it expects to serve over 3.7 million passengers.
