OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2013. NOMOS-BANK shareholders have decided to transfer Khanty-Mansiysk Bank branches in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions to NOMOS-BANK. This decision affects branches in Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk and additional offices in Yekaterinburg, Magnitogorsk and Trekhgorny.

For the convenience of customers, two offices of Khanty-Mansiysk Bank in Yekaterinburg (Malysheva Str., 128, and Cosmonavta Str., 45), as well as one in Kamensk-Uralsk will continue to operate.

"This decision was made as a part of  the integration of NOMOS-BANK into Otkritie Financial Corporation,” said CEO of NOMOS-BANK, Dmitry Romaev. “During 2013, the Group's business development in these regions will be under the NOMOS-BANK brand. This will ensure the comfortable transition for our clients, who will be serviced by a single banking structure, which will be created through the merger of NOMOS-BANK and Otkritie Bank.”

Corporate, small businesses, and individual clients of the Khanty-Mansiysk Bank, who have contracts with branches, which are transferred to NOMOS-BANK, will continue to be serviced under the agreed conditions.

Currently, the combined ATM network of NOMOS-BANK and Khanty-Mansiysk Bank allows customers of both banks to withdraw and deposit cash, make cash transfers in rubles free of charge. In the near future there are plans to consolidate the ATM network of NOMOS-BANK, Khanty-Mansiysk Bank and Otkritie Financial Corporation. This will mean that our clients will have access to around 2,000 ATMs in more than 125 cities across Russia and use the United Settlement System ATMS as well.

Urals Federal District is one of the key business regions for Otkritie Finance Corporation. By joining the Corporation NOMOS-BANK will be able to offer the full range of banking, investment, insurance and pension solutions to all key customer segments - corporate, small business and retail banking.

In August 2012, Otkritie Financial Corporation acquired a 19.9% stake in NOMOS-BANK and announced its intention to consolidate up to 100% of NOMOS-BANK shares during 2013-2014. After consolidation the Corporation will become the second-largest financial group in Russia with total assets of more than RUB 1 trillion, of which over RUB 850 billion would be Otkritie Bank assets. Otkritie Financial Corporation’s customer base would include over 140,000 legal entities and around 3 million retail clients.

After NOMOS-BANK consolidation, the shareholders’ structure of Otkritie Financial Corporation will be as follows: Vadim Belyaev and the Corporation’s top managers will control up to a 25% stake; the stakes of up to 10% will be owned by companies affiliated with ICT Group (which will thus remain among NOMOS-BANK’s shareholders) and also VTB Group, Boris Mints and Alexander Mamut.
