OREANDA-NEWS. NPO "VNIIPTMASH" JSC - Uralmashplant's subsidiary - completed reengineering of the pouring crane in the open-hearth shop of "Uzbek Metallurgical Enterprise" JSC.

125+30 tons capacity crane worked at the plant for 50 years. During the reengineering capacity of the main hoisting crane was increased to 160 tons by force of strengthening main beams' steel construction, manufacturing of new cart and cross arm. This will permit to use a larger capacity bucket, and therefore increase volume of steel smelting.

After reengineering the crane successfully passed static, dynamic and hot tests, after that it was returned to authorities of Uzbek State Engineering Supervision.
