OREANDA-NEWS.  DTEK Krymenergo resumed normal power supply to the consumers after removing the power grid restrictions.

On April, 16 at 09:26 a.m. the load up to 450 MW was de-energized in Crimea due to disconnections in the networks of ‘Ukrenergo’, the National Energy Company.

At 11:05 a.m. all power consumption restrictions in Crimea were removed by the Crimean power grid, followed by the operations of resuming the power supply to disconnected consumers.

‘There were no failures in equipment and electricity transmission lines of DTEK Krymenergo. The lines were broken outside Crimea. Unfortunately, our consumers underwent difficulties, since our load got restricted. We had to disconnect the household consumers to supply electricity to the strategic facilities, such as water channels, hospitals and industrial plants. After removal of restrictions, the power engineers of DTEK Krymenergo worked without delay and reconnected all consumers within 10 minutes. Now we don’t have problems with power supply and voltage is also normal’, says Dmitry Kravchuk, the Technical Director of DTEK Krymenergo.
