OREANDA-NEWS. For the reporting period from January to March 2013, UTair Group aircraft transported a combined total of 3,717,655 passengers, an increase of 13.6% over the same period in 2012. Passenger turnover for the reported period constituted 1.891.311 PKM, an increase of 10.3% over same period in 2012. UTair aircraft spent at total of 67,246 hours in-flight. For the first three months of the year UTair Group aircraft delivered 6,734.40 tons of cargo, 20.4 % more than for the same period in 2012. Passenger load factor reached 72.93%, 4% more than for the same period 2012.

The growing passenger load factor on UTair aircraft and overall passenger volume represent a positive outcome reflecting increased overall efficiency of the UTair passenger transport program.

UTair Group rotor-wing aircraft logged a total of 27,934 flight hours in the January-March 2013 period. UTair Group helicopters delivered 23,580.89 tons of cargo, 37.8 % more than for the same period in 2012. UTair Group helicopters transported 136,308 passengers in the January-March reporting period.
