OREANDA-NEWS. The project of a typical regional business catalyst, which was initiated by RVC, was developed by the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and successfully tested at the Don State Technical University (DSTU).

The project realization will provide distributing of this model in other Russian regions. In particular, by order of RVC, the SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community plans to establish business catalysts in three more federal subjects.

One of the main goals of a business catalyst is to increase a number of projects that are ready for presentation to venture funds’ investment committees. Experts proposed an instrument that provides communication for all parts (technical developers, entrepreneurs, industrial experts) and transforms ideas in real businesses.

Leading universities of Rostov region presented 42 technical solutions to the business catalyst’s experts. 10 of them received mentorship support from the SKOLKOVO Executive MBA and SKOLKOVO MBA students. And six projects were presented to potential investors, members of the SKOLKOVO Entrepreneurial community.
