OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2013. Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade together, organized by China Development Bank and Australian Business Council together, the 3rd “Sino-Australian CEO Round Table” was held in Beijing.

After the meeting, president of Chinese side, Vice-President of CPPCC, board chairman of China Development Bank Chen Yuan and President of Australian side, President of Australian Business Council Tony Shepherd reported meeting results and recommendations of the enterprises to Vice Prime Minister of State Council Wang Yang and Prime Minister of Australia Gillard.

There were 13 entrepreneurs from energy mining, agriculture and service industry of China and Australia attended the meeting. The participants reached a consensus that both countries should, in strategic manner, seek the opportunities of Chinese urbanization and world economy adjustment, map out the future of Sino-Australia with global perspective. Entrepreneurs expressed their willing to future complete the bilateral exchange and communication mechanism in comprehensive and multi level, strengthen common ground, create cooperate and win-win situation, promote Sino-Australian economic and trade relationship into higher level, and make more positive contribution for prosperity and stability of Asian-Pacific economy and recovery of world economy.

China Development Bank is major bank in China for foreign investment and financing cooperation, which has contract amount of more than 35 billion US dollars and loan balance of 22 billion US dollars in Australia. It is a bank with the biggest loan size in Australia, which promots Sino-Australian cooperation in energy, mine, infrastructure and planning cooperation and so on, having realized mutual benefit and win-win situation.

The represents sent by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Australian Embassy in China attended this round table.
