OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom Neft employees took part in organizing a charity benefit sporting event for orphanages and boarding schools for underprivileged kids entitled Spring Sports 2013, held in Kirovsk, Leningrad Oblast. Gazprom Neft volunteers and members of their families attended the sporting event and provided support in the conduct of the competitions. The Spring Sports event is being held for the second time, and the company has been consistently providing comprehensive support for these competitions. This year, a total of 160 children, including disabled children, participated in the event. The children were organized in teams from twelve orphanages and four boarding schools in Leningrad Oblast and the Republic of Karelia.

Over two days, the participants competed in futsal, table tennis, darts, air rifle shooting, and relay races. An educational program was also offered to the event participants. The event ended with the awarding of gifts to winning teams and highest-scoring individuals. The overall winning team came from Anisimovsky Orphanage. Zenit football team fullback Tomas Hubocan took part in the awards ceremony for event winners.
