OREANDA-NEWS. Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services have raised the long-term credit rating of Vneshprombank from 'B' to 'B+', while the national scale rating was raised from 'ruA-' to 'ruA+'. The short-term counterparty credit rating was confirmed at level 'B'. The outlook on the ratings is stable. It is the opinion of the Services analysts that Vneshprombank has demonstrated effective implementation of its strategy and high-level financial performance as a result of an increase in the customer base and the market share and the growth of a branch network. The stable outlook reflects the experts' expectations that in the future Vneshprombank will combine a strengthening of its market position with acceptable capitalization performance, maintaining the significant liquidity cushion and high quality of its assets. Moreover, pursuant to S&P`s press release, Vneshprombank has been demonstrating good performance over a considerable period of time, while the corporate governance and financial transparency levels of Vneshprombank correspond to the current level of ratings. In recent years Vneshprombank has been demonstrating business and customer base growth above the average level in the banking system.
