OREANDA-NEWS. In view of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work approaching, Servis-Invest summarized the safety performance results for 2012 and the first quarter of 2013. The company awarded the top safety performers – employees, subdivisions and auditor. In 2011-2012, Servis-Invest allocated UAH 8 million for occupational health and safety; in 2013 the company is going to invest UAH 4 million.

 In 2010, the company’s safety management system was certified for its conformity with OHSAS 18001:2007. The company primarily strives to prevent and mitigate possible risks. In 2013, the Safety Incentive Programme has been launched. The programme aims to develop a proactive safety behavior. Each employee shall strictly follow the safety rules and help ensure safe working environment. Some of our employees are trained as internal auditors to carry out regular audits of the company’s safety management system.

 “Servis-Invest, as well as other DTEK Group’s companies, pays much attention to health and safety of its employees,” noted Oleg Trifonov, the General Director of Servis-Invest. “We seek to improve not only our performance indicators, but also working environment. We take systematic efforts to make sure our employees are committed to health and safety at workplace.”

 Over the period 2007-2012, DTEK invested over UAH 1.4 billion in safe working conditions for its employees.
