OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus’ OJSC Krinitsa produced 2.951 million decaliters of beer in January-March 2013, down 5.5% on the year, a representative in food concern Belgospischeprom told reporters.

In March alone Krinitsa’s beer output declined by 4.8% on the year to 1.115 million decalitres.

Beer output in plastic bottles went down 7.3% on the year to 2.453 million decaliters. Krinitsa beer output in glass bottles reduced 10.2% to 158,200 decaliters, in kegs went up 4.7% to 292,100 decaliters. Beer output in aluminium cans totalled 47,000 decaliters (up 120%).

Krinitsa’s sales on the home market in January-March amounted to 1.845 million decaliters, down 20.4% on the year. In March alone Krinitsa supplied to domestic retailers 698,200 dal of beer, down 20% on the year.

Krinitsa’s beer exports in January-March grew 24.2% on the year to 982,700 dal.

Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OJSC Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant were incorporated by OJSCO Krinitsa and now operate as subsidiaries. The government holds an 84% stake in OJSC Krinitsa.
