OREANDA-NEWS. A draft of construction regulations for government-subsidized housing communities and related facilities that was released recently for Hebei province has provided details on standards for transportation, heating, drinking water, and telecommunications to guarantee a more convenient life for low-income families in the province.

The government said that all subsidized housing communities need to have bus stations and other supplementary facilities and that these communities need to give priority to good locations.

Supplementary facilities can vary, depending on the population of the communities, but they all need kindergarten and fitness facilities and convenience stores. Any existing communities or those under construction will need to add or increase support facilities in accordance with standards stipulated in the draft.
