OREANDA-NEWS. Renowned private entrepreneurs from across the country will sign a package of deals with governments and businesses in Lu'an, Anhui province during their visit to the Dabie Mountain later this week, Anhui Business Daily reported.

The move is seen as the provincial government's latest bid to speed up the development of the poverty-stricken mountainous area.

The government has been seeking cooperation with well-known private firms from beyond the province ever since August, 2010. Out of 2,169 projects under contracts they have entered into as of February 28, 2013, construction has started on 1,454 industrial ones, 75 agricultural ones, together with 57, 153 and 273 ones in cultural, infrastructure and service sectors, respectively.
