OREANDA-NEWS. Aegean Airlines increases traffic from Moscow Domodedovo Airport in frames of summer schedule 2013. Number of regular flights to Athens and Thessaloniki has already increased up to 5 per week. Flights to each Greek island: Iraklion, Kerkira, Kos and Rhode will be operated from 4 to 6 times a week during a summer season. In the nearest future Moscow Domodedovo Airport route map will be supplemented by the addition of unique for Moscow air hub destinations: in May flights to Kalamata, and in mid-June – to Alexandroupoli. All flights of Aegean Airlines from Domodedovo are operated on comfortable airliners Airbus A319 and A320, economy and business classes are available for passengers.

Destinations in Greece are highly demanded by Russian tourists. Passenger traffic from Domodedovo to Greece increases steadily. In 2012 passenger traffic totaled 518 thousand passengers, up 11% compared to previous year. With extension of Aegean Airlines flight programme, the frequency of regular flights to Greece will reach 46 flights per week in summer tourist season 2013.
