OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2013. Bank’s Shareholder and the Chairperson of the Council Valeri Belokon attended the Atlantic Council’s annual Distinguished Leadership Awards Dinner in Washington, DC. 

Each year, the Atlantic Council of the United States hosts a Distinguished International Leadership Awards ceremony to honor leaders who represent the pillars of the transatlantic relationship: political, business, humanitarian, and artistic achievements.  
 
The dinner is one of the most visible and exciting black-tie events of the year in Washington, and brings together distinguished guests from more than 60 countries, including an audience of government, ambassadors, the members of Congress, members of the administration, global business leaders, and others.

This year’s Top Leadership Awards were presented to Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Distinguished International Leadership, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Distinguished International Leadership (Distinguished International Leadership Award is given to remarkable global political leaders having made an enduring contribution to the international community), Chevron Chairman and CEO John Watson, Distinguished Business Leadership, legendary performer and humanitarian Tony Bennett, Distinguished Artistic Leadership, and musician and social activist Juanes, Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership.
