OREANDA-NEWS. Tata Power, India’s largest integrated power utility, has continuously endeavored to improve the quality of life of its communities. In continuation with this philosophy, Tata Power’s Tiruldih Project team organized yet another initiative for the well-being of people located in the vicinity by taking necessary steps to provide them with quality healthcare.

As an integral part of its healthcare drive, Tata Power’s Tiruldih team organized a medical camp office under rural medical services from the 26th to the 28th of April. More than 200 patients availed free medical services and treatments. Medical consultancy team was hired to provide free consultancy and medicines to the villagers. The main diseases ailing people were malnutrition, blood pressure, and viral fever.

The response to this initiative was tremendous as the community requested for regular camps on a fortnightly basis. People are genuinely concerned about their health and are willing to travel to camps as they trust Tata Power’s project team.

Speaking on the initiative Mr. D Santra, Head-Tiruldih Project said, "It's our endeavour to improve the quality of life of our communities through such health camps and drives. The objective of this programme is to provide better healthcare facility to the community around our business operations. Tata Power has always tried to address community needs and treats community people as one of its most important stakeholders."
