OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2013. In the frames of realization of the State program of activization of the economic development for 2013-2014 it is furthered realization of national housing programs acting in the previous years and it is also planned to introduce two new accommodation programs. This was informed by Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadiy Temnyk during a media conference at the press center of the Government.

The Minister explained that these days the following programs are being successfully realized: the Available accommodation program (30/70), the program of lowering cost of privileged mortgage loans, the program of building accommodation in villages The own home and program of providing with accommodation war invalids. 

Hennadiy Temnyk emphasized that 23 thousand citizens participated in the state housing programs by now. There were selected 392 residential houses with 16 thousand flats for realization of the programs. 133 residential houses or 3 thousand flats out of this number were put in exploitation.

Moreover, Hennadiy Temnyk informed that the Ministry of Regional Development in synergy with State Mortgage Department had already elaborated a mechanism of realization of the program which envisages rental of accommodation with the purchase option under 3% annual rates. A respective draft resolution will be submitted by the Finance Ministry for considering by the Government. 

“Thus far, there have been constructed 3 thousand flats which can be sold to the citizens in the framework of this program, that is a project for now. By the end of current year, according to the forecasts of builders, there will be put in exploitation around 15 thousand flats more,” Hennadiy Temnyk emphasized.

In addition, the head of the Ministry of Regional Development informed that microdistricts of available accommodation are planned to develop in regions on perspective land sites, that’s on those which possess necessary engineering, transport and social infrastructure.
