OREANDA-NEWS/ On May 16, the representatives of the governmental delegation of the Republic of Belarus, including Vladimir Semashko, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, are at KAMAZ.

The main purpose of the visit is to negotiate a long-term cooperation between KAMAZ and the former Soviet republic. The delegation from Belarus includes Dmitry Katerinich, Minister of Industry; Viktor Osnovsky, General Director of JSC MAZ; Sergey Pyatkov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Property Committee of Belarus; the leading officials and businessmen of the Republic of Belarus. The guests from Belarus are welcomed and accompanied by Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ; Irek Gumerov, Director of Development; Rustam Shamsutdinov, Deputy General Director of Purchasing.

The program of the visit of the delegation includes a tour of the engine plant and CUMMINS KAMA Joint Venture, a Cummins cylinder block processing line, a KAMAZ engine assembly line, and a Cummins engine assembly conveyor. Besides, the guests will visit the forge plant to see a crankshaft and front axle processing line. Later, it is planned to visit the mother assembly line and a cab assembly line of the automobile plant, and KAMAZ Research and Development Center where vehicles are usually exhibited. The guests from Belarus will also meet with the KAMAZ-master team at the KAMAZ-Avtosport Center.

At the end of the visit, negotiations will be conducted with the participation of Sergey Kogogin, as well as Ravil Zaripov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Renat Milkamanavichus from the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade.
