OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of Moscow has launched a payment acceptance service with the use of bank cards for the municipal unitary enterprise Multifunctional Centre for the Provision of State and Municipal Services located in the city district of Domodedovo, which is engaged in charging housing and communal payments. The introduction of the online payment system provides the people of Domodedovo district with an opportunity to pay the housing and communal bills with bank card, the minimum commission being 1.2%. About 70000 people who live in Domodedovo district can use these services.

Accepting bank cards for payment helped the managing companies and communal service providers suppliers of Domodedovo district reduce the number of debtors and shorten the time of repayment. When accepting payments 3-D Secure, a most advanced system, is used assuring security of transactions.

It is not the first project of the Bank of Moscow as an acquirer of communal service payments in Moscow Area. A similar project has been implemented with the municipal unitary enterprise City Service Centre, Reutov, Moscow Area.

Recently the Bank of Moscow in co-operation with ZAO Balashikhinskaya Electroset (BELS) which provides services to over 155 thousand individuals and 3 thousand legal entities with its turnover exceeding 1.2 billion kW*h/year, has launched a payment acceptance service of the BELS website (www.belssb.ru). This permits the people of Balashikha, Zheleznodorozhny and Reutov to pay for the actually consumed power on the website of ZAO Balashikhinskaya Electroset using bank cards. Commission paid by a client for payment also amounts to 1.2%.

"With the help of our services the people of Moscow Area are able to pay for housing and communal services in a quicker and more convenient way and much cheaper than before".
