OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom Neft is beginning a project to build a compressor station at Yety-Purovskoye field (developed by Gazprom Neft Noyabrskneftegaz ) in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The new compressor station, which has a capacity of over 1 billion cubic meters of gas per year, will make it possible to transport associated petroleum gas produced at the field to the LLC Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk gas gathering system. A 9-kilometer-long gas pipeline will be constructed for this purpose. Then the gas will go to the Urengoi-Chelyabinsk gas trunk pipeline via the Vyngayakhinskaya complex gas treatment plant. Completion of the project is planned for 2015.

Bidding procedures to select equipment suppliers for the main process units of the compressor station finished in April. In particular, PJSC Sumy Frunze NPO will manufacture and deliver the gas compression unit, while LLC Ertei Petroshem Rus, an official representative of Prosernat , will provide the gas dehydration and glycol regeneration unit.

“Gazprom Neft is consistently raising its level of associated gas utilization, and, to this end, it has already completed and is continuing the implementation of a number of major projects in which it is investing substantial funds. Construction of the compressor station at Yety-Purovskoye field will make it possible to prepare the infrastructure for the increased volume of gas produced and efficient use of that raw material,” said Anton Gladchenko, head of the Gazprom Neft Gas and Power Engineering Directorate.
