OREANDA-NEWS.  May 20, 2013. During the session the Government decided to negotiate with the EBRD and the EIB about the financing; the group of the negotiators was chosen as well.

Anatolie Salaru, Minister of Transports and Road Infrastructure, mentioned that 290 km. of roads over the country are planned to be rehabilitated on the facilities of the EBRD and the EIB; moreover, 2 thousand of new working places are planned to be created as well. It is expected that the agreement will be signed in June-July, during the visit of the EBRD and the EIB representatives to Moldova.

Also, our authorities plan that the EBRD and the EIB will give EUR 100 million to re-new Moldavian railway equipment to modernize the services of passengers and cargoes carriages.
