OREANDA-NEWS. World Trade Center Moscow, the largest multi-profile business center in the center of Moscow, announced the appointment of S. Lauga as the head of the finance department, V. Slom as the head of the economics and planning department and A. Solodkov as the business manager.

Vladislav Slom has been appointed as the head of the Department of Economics and Planning, Sergey Lauga as the new head of the Finance Department and Andrei Solodkov as the Business Manager.

The new appointments came as a result of a new strategy for the development of the company towards a more modern and optimized approach for all of WTC’s business processes.

Andrei Solodkov was born in 1970. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of foreign economic relations, economics and law in 1999, specializing in jurisprudence, and in 2001 he graduated from the Norilsk Industrial Institute specializing in economics. From 1989 to 1995 Mr. Solodkov held various positions at the Norilsk Mountain and Metal Combine amed after A.P. Zavenyagina. From 1995 to 2005 he practiced jurisprudence in companies and organizations such as Norilsk Nickel, Nord Audit, the Administration of Krasnoyarsk Region, the Administration of the Taimir Autonomous Region and MAZK Service. In 2005, Mr. Solodkov the deputy Managing Director at Vegaproject and then from 2006 until he was the head of legal and property relations of the automotive production plant “Molniya”. From 2007 until 2008 he held the position of General Director of IFK Consulting. Afterwards, from 2008 until 2009 Mr. Solodkov was the deputy head of normative and methodological work unit in the Department of special programs and projects at the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation. From 2009 until 2013 he was in charge of the Federal Highway Agency.

Vladislav Slom was born in 1971. He graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation in 1998. From 1991-1995 Mr. Slom worked in Russian tax authorities; from 1995-2001 he worked his way up from being a junior specialist to the head specialist of the Audit Department of Rosexpertiza; from 2001 until 2007 Mr. Slom was the head of the department of banking audits at FinExpertiza. In 2007 Mr. Slom transferred to Delovoi Profil as the new financial director and in 2009 became the head of the company as the General and Commercial Director. In 2012 he joined the World Trade Center team as the deputy director of the Department of Corporate Management and in 2013 became the head of the Department of Economics and Planning.

Sergey Lauga was borin in 1977. In 1999 he graduated from the Moscow State University of Management. He has been working at the World Trade Center since 2007. Before that, Mr. Lauga worked in various positions at the Moscow State University of Management, Partiya-Moskva and the Client Press Publishing House. From 2000 until 2002 he was the Financial Director of Metro Star; from 2002-2004 he was the Financial Director of the distribution company Master and Margo. From 2004 until 2007 Mr. Lauga was the head of the unitary enterprise Rosspiritprom. While working at the World Trade Center, Mr. Lauga laid down the ideas for and created the “Training Center” in the company.

OJSC World Trade Center was registered on 16 September 1992 (OJSC SOVINCENTER prior to 2000). The Company is the legal successor of the Center for International Trade and Scientific and Technical Cooperation with Foreign Countries opened in 1980.

The complex of 265.3 thousand sq.m is located within the 7ha site within the 3-rd Transport Ring boundary and consists of three office blocks of 20 - 29 floors; a Congress Center; Crowne Plaza Hotel, including an exclusive Club Building; “Mezhdunarodnaya-2” apart-hotel; an automated multi-level car park and top-class restaurants.

In 2012, WTCM sales revenue increased by 13.5% to RUR 5.76 bln., net profit increased by 8.7% to RUR 1.347 bln. Charter capital of the Company is distributed among 1.083 bln. ordinary and 162 mln. preferred shares of RUR 1 each.
