OREANDA-NEWS. Aozora Bank, Ltd. announced the opening, in May 2013, of the ‘Aozora Academy at Aoyama’, a dedicated training center for its retail sales force.

Since April 2012, the Bank has redesigned and relocated a number of its branches based on the design concept of an “Urban Oasis Under an Aozora Sky”, createdith the intent of enhancing comfort and privacy for customers, in order to focus on providing asset management consulting services in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Furthermore, the Bank launched its new ‘Brilliant 60s’ retail branding strategy in February 2013. This new strategy is focused on Japan’s senior generation, particularly people in their sixties, who are made up of an extremely active group of people keen to broaden their worlds and knowledge base. Going forward, the Bank’s message to this segment will be ‘Together with the Brilliant 60s’.

The Academy was established with the objective of strengthening the Bank’s sales-force and enhancing the level of its consulting services in order respond to the diverse needs of customers, including those in their Brilliant 60s. The Academy training program will focus not only on the acquisition of product knowledge, but also on gaining hands-on experience based on role-playing, as well as on-the-job-training programs.

Aozora will continue to do its best to offer a wide variety of financial services that meet the needs of its customers, while attracting as many new customers as possible.
