OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2013. Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov declares the need to broaden and improve communicatons with investors exists, as the world is not well aware about the favourable investment climate created in Ukraine. This was informed at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“We need to broaden and improve communications with investors. It is without bias: rather attractive conditions of making business already exist in Ukraine. But there is insufficient awareness about it in the world. It should be changed,” Mykola Azarov said.

At the same time, the head of Government emphasized that the course of the President of Ukraine towards creation in our state of favorable investment conditions yielded visible results.

He reminded that last Friday there had taken place an official opening of Centers of scientific and research, research and design solutions of the Samsung Electronics Ukraine in Kyiv and Kharkiv. 

“It is not a usual fact of activity in Ukraine for a transnational corporation. The Samsung corporation aims to create research center №1 among the CIS and European states just in Ukraine,” the Premier said.

He recalled that during last year’s visit of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to the South Korea, the Korean side had underlined significance of the mentioned project for further development of cooperation between the two states in IT-technologies: “And now Ukrainian-Korean cooperation have entered the new stage of development”.

According to Mykola Azarov, a leading world company the Samsung has created in Ukraine 1200 highly-paid workplaces and plans to increase them up to 2 thousand the following year. While annual investments will be increased up to USD 100 million. Besides, the Samsung has demonstrated a respective integration with Ukrainian social and economic space: pays taxes, cares about social maintenance of employees and participates in charity, social projects.

“Ukraine welcomes such a system policy of the Korean company. I hope this experience of successful cooperation with us will be adopted as an example by other foreign partners,” expressed his hopes the Prime Minister.
