OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2013. Chinese National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) which is responsible for Khartoum Refinery maintenance operations announced the completion of 50% of the process which started last month.

Such step will lead to bringing to an end the cooking gas crisis which usually coincides with the maintenance timing.

CNPC report published in this regard added that Khartoum Refinery is currently witnessing major maintenance operations considering that the production capacity of the refinery is 100 barrels/day.

The maintenance operation affected the flow of cooking gas to consumers in Khartoum as well as other states.

It is worth noting that maintenance process operations will be every four years in the future after the modernization of shipping and unloading.
