OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2013. This was voiced by Tracom Director General Vitalie Vrabie at the Forum of Industrial parks. According to him, in 2012, investments amounted to MDL 38 million, making 12% of the investment program announced by 25 residents of the park.

Up to present, residents of the park have invested MDL 43.4 million of which 50% were invested in buildings, 43% in machines and equipment, 2% in development of the infrastructure of the park and 5% were spent on other purposes. Greatest amounts of money were invested by Aralit (MDL 10.3 million of MDL 11.4 million announced), Radiator (MDL 5.4 million of MDL 7.4 million planned), Cartnord (MDL 5.08 million of MDL 8 million announced).

According to the Director General, Tracom is facing four chief problems, namely the obsolete infrastructure, modest investment possibilities, a lack of incomes to rehabilitate the infrastructure and enhance services and poor visibility of the park and its residents. To remedy the situation the water supply system was rehabilitated, the design for reconstruction of the gas supply system was developed and repair works in the administrative block were launched in 2012.

In 2012, the industrial output at Tracom amounted to MDL 31 million, the turnover made up MDL 103 million, taxes and duties were transferred to the budget at a sum of MDL 8.3 million, Vitalie Vrabie reported. In line with the Plan for Strategic Development of Tracom for 2013-2015, general incomes of the park were budgeted at MDL 22.65 million in 2013, MDL 13.9 million in 2013, MDL 19.2 million in 2014 and MDL 19.6 million in 2015.

Industrial park Tracom has stretched on a territory of 32.26 hectares and specializes in producing machines, plant, electronic and electrical equipment, metal ware and in developing information technologies. Among 25 current residents of the park there are Moldcell, Starnet, Microcell, Larice, Ercolano and others.

As of June, 2012 the average wage in the industrial park made up MDL 4.07 thousand. Let’s remind that losses of Tracom were MDL 189.3 thousand in 2011, 16.5% down as compared with 2010. The state-owned enterprise was given the industrial park status in 2011. At present, there are three industrial parks in Moldova - Tracom, Bioenergagro and Cimislia.
