OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2013. With the official arrival and stationing of the small-and-micro network system  project team, China Development Bank (CDB)’s Suzhou Software Center came online.

This represents CDB’s first self-owned IT systems development space, and ends its long-time reliance on temporary leasing of office space. The Center enhances the basic conditions of CDB's overall IT systems, testing, and popularization.

CDB built the software development center in Suzhou’s Industrial Park in order to keep up with the ever-mounting demand for IT systems due to the continuous steady grow of the company’s business. The project obtained governmental approval in November 2008. The construction and landscaping of the Software Development Center were engineered based on planning requirements, and are adapted to the local architectural style and features of the surrounding environment.

Relevant CDB representatives stated that the Suzhou Software Development Center will play a vital supporting role in improving the standardization of software development, protecting proprietary intellectual property, and preventing information security risks of software development. The Center will inevitably enhance the leadership and advancement of CDB’s IT in business development and product innovation, and will allow it to provide clients with greater modern financial services.
