OREANDA-NEWS. General Director of "Aerospace Equipment Corporation" Y. Zaplatkin took part in offsite meeting of JSC "Radioelectronic Technologies Concern" Board directed by Nikolay Kolesov, General Director of "Radioelectronic Technologies Concern".

The meeting was attended by the representatives of State Corporation "Rostekh", the leaders of the Concern and its member-organizations. All in all, there were more than 50 directors of the leading Russian companies of instrument-making industry.

Main results of Concern work in 2012 were summarized, short-term and medium-term plans and objectives were presented, prospects of productive capacity of enterprises were discussed as well as the ways of solving problems at the agenda of the Board meeting. Special focus was on the preparation of joint exposition of Concern at MAKS - 2013.

General Director of JSC "Aerospace Equipment Corporation" Y. Zaplatkin took part in the meeting of the Board. JSC "AEC" has been the part of State Corporation "Rostech" since 2008. It has become a part of its integrated structure - JSC "Aircraft Engineering Concern" since 2009 and it has joined to "Radioelectronic Technologies Concern" since 2012.

State Corporation "Rostech" (it was "Rostekhnologii" until December 2012) is a Russian state-owned corporation. It was established in 2007 for assistance, development, production and export of high-tech industrial products for civil and military purpose. It includes 663 organizations. They form 13 holding companies. 8 of them are in the military-industrial complex, five are in civilian industries. Rostech has a presence in 60 of Russia's regions, and exports its products to more than 70 countries.

"Radioelectronic Technologies Concern" is a specialized management company. It includes the companies developing and manufacturing electronic warfare, means of state identification, detachable electrical connectors, and products for civilian use. It comprises more than 50 companies. According to the decision of the Supervisory Board of "Rostekhnologii"(the decision was arrived in December 2012), assets of "Aircraft Engineering Holding" were transferred to "Radioelectronic Technologies Concern". Thus the largest Russian center of instrument-making for Defense-Industrial Complex and civil industry was created.
