OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, has become a leader in 1Q13 Russian subscriber base additions. According to AC&M Consulting, the operator accounted for 44% of new additions in Russia.

Tele2 Russia added 166 thou people in 1Q13 – that is according to AC&M Consulting report as of 17 May 2013. The total subscriber base of Tele2 Russia totaled 22 882 thou people.

 In 1Q13 Tele2 accounted for 44% of all new additions in Russia. Regions, excluding Moscow and St Petersburg, accounted for 50% of overall new additions.

 Tele2 Russia leadership in 1Q13 additions is due to attractive pricing, customer loyalty, development of distribution network and constant work over the quality of the services provided, including considerable investment in larger network coverage and its capacity.
