Gazpromneft Aero , the operator of Gazprom Neft’s aviation fuel business, has begun providing fueling services at the airport in the Italian city of Reggio di Calabria, which became the one hundredth airport outside of Russia where the company operates. Fuel is supplied to Gazpromneft Aero’s airline partners under a long-term agreement with the Italian oil and gas company ENI .

Gazpromneft Aero fuels aircraft in foreign airports under agreements with leading aviation fuel suppliers on local markets. Partnerships with national oil companies ensure that airlines get the best prices for fuel supplied on time in over forty countries of the world. The largest Russian airlines, including Aeroflot, Transaero, S7, Nordwind, Volga-Dnepr, Air Cargo Germany, Nordavia, Aviacon Zitotrans, and Ural Airlines, currently all take advantage of Gazpromneft Aero’s fueling services outside of Russia.“Developing our fuel supply operations abroad is one of Gazpromneft Aero’s priorities. To this end, we recently have achieved significant success in developing long-term partnership relations with the largest Russian air carriers, working together with the leading aviation fuel suppliers on local markets. Under Gazpromneft Aero’s updated strategy, the company will expand its international sales network to 220 airports before 2025,” said Gazpromneft Aero CEO Vladimir Yegorov.
