OREANDA-NEWS. Truck wholesales were 88.3 thousand units in January-April 2012, down 11.0% on the year, according to ASM Holding analysts. Sales of domestic-branded trucks were down 2.8% to 45.9 thousand units, while their market share added 4.4 points to make 52.0%. Sales of foreign-branded trucks assembled in Russia grew by 31.8% to 8.6 thousand units, and their market share added 3.2 points to make 9.7%. New imports declined by 20.3% to 31.2 thousand trucks and their market share lost 4.1 points to make 35.4%. Used imports contracted 2.4 times to 2.6 thousand trucks, and their share squeezed 2.2 times to 2.9%.
