OREANDA-NEWS. This May students of leading Kostroma universities joined the “Grants for Pharmaceutical Cluster Development” program aimed to develop human resources of pharmaceutical industry. Today over 200 students receive personal monthly R-Pharm scholarships and participate in company’s internships and various social and business projects. Initially the “Grants for Pharmaceutical Cluster Development” program was launched over two years ago within the Yaroslavl Pharmaceutical Cluster comprising of R-Pharm’s State-of- the-art Manufacturing Site of Finished Dosage Forms and Chemical API Manufacturing Site “Farmoslavl”.

The R-Pharm Scholarship competition was launched in the end of February in Kostroma State Technological University, Kostroma State Agricultural Academy, Sharya Medical College, Kostroma Regional Medical College named after Bogomolov and Kostroma State University named after Nekrasov. The competition comprised two stages – essay preparation and an interview with R-Pharm’s experts. There were 60 participants in total. 20 of them were granted with 10,000 Rubles monthly scholarships and employment opportunities within the company on graduation.

Marina Kotelnikova, HR Director, R-Pharm Group, highlighted the importance of this kind of programs: “HR development is fundamental in creation of a strong, competitive and successful hi-tech company. That’s why we consider training of highly qualified scientists and healthcare professionals as a priority of our company. Participating in elaboration and implementation of various targeted staff training programs in cooperation with leading educational institutes, we make an important contribution into further HR development for Russian pharmaceutical industry”.
