OREANDA-NEWS. The urban planner of Hefei, capital of Anhui province, on Wednesday unveiled a list of historical relics that would be under special protection.

The Administration of Urban Planning of Hefei set up to 280 specific protection areas, marked with purple lines, for ancient buildings, tombs, carvings and paintings. All buildings in these areas are required to follow a style similar to the remains,  and ceilings are imposed on the height of the new buildings, according to the administration.

The list includes the Memorial Temple of Lord Bao, the City God Temple and the Han-dynasty(202BC-220) tombs in the village of taohuadian.
