OREANDA-NEWS. June 11, 2013. Zolfo Cooper, Simon Freakley and the team responsible for the Temporary Administration of AB Bankas Snoras (Bank Snoras) strongly object to the further false and intentionally misleading allegations that some depositors were assisted by Simon Freakley to withdraw monies from the bank after its operations had been suspended.

The inaccurate reporting by a number of newspapers and internet sources is defamatory, unfounded and will not be tolerated. It is highly irresponsible and unprofessional for the media to publish such allegations without any credible evidence.  It is also misleading and offensive to the vast majority of Snoras creditors who may be led to feel that they have been denied an opportunity to recover some of their claims.

Lawyers have been instructed because of the serious nature of these allegations and the deliberate attempts to undermine the integrity and professionalism of those involved with the Temporary Administration of AB Bankas Snoras.

Reckless attempts made by those wishing to jeopardise the progress made to date during this highly complex bankruptcy achieve nothing and will not distract the Bankruptcy Administrator and his  team from working hard to achieve the best possible outcome for all creditors.
